Traditional shape, new proportions. The oversized ear is a playful update to the classic porcelain mug.
The aim was to visualize a vehicle concept for IKEA, incorporating core values such as family friendly, Scandinavian design and a low cost.
Exterior sketches are built upon compact yet tall proportions which create lots of interior space. Interior sketches all features IKEA inspired seats and connects to the Scandinavian design theme.
The final concept is all about a flexible interior. The IKEA inspired seats can be moved around in the vehicle to a number of different seating configurations. The idea is to have a wide range of seats for the customer to choose from to offer the possibility of individually designed interiors, much like you change furniture in your home. The exterior is relatively straight forward where the lower transparent surface and line is a dominant feature that ads character. The head lights are bright OLED panels that make changeable graphics possible. The vehicle uses in-wheel motors that are powered by the two battery packages placed in the front and back.
The objective was to design a bench inspired by organic structures. The bench rests on a circle rail. When rotated a perfect water ripple pattern is raked up. Materials: Aluminum and concrete.
Knife Concept intended for gourmet restaurant 50 KVADRAT, Visby. The restaurant is known for its modern, Swedish dishes. Rough sketches were turned into silhouettes for easier evaluation. The most interesting one’s were picked out and turned into three different themes.
The final concept picks up elements from all of the concept sketches. The design is minimalistic with traditional influences, fitting the restaurants theme and menu. The convex silhouette and white shaft stands in contrast to the more traditional mounting of the shaft.
The idea behind this concept was to comment on a well known phenomenon. It’s the brand just as much as the content that you´re paying for. This perfume concept has a generous silhouette compared to the actual bottle making the perfume even more exclusive.
The task was to design a LED light for an existing set of components including; led-diode, battery pack and switch while considering draft angles and volume.
The result is a robust indoor LED light that houses the components efficiently.
